Cookie policy
This English version is provided for information only. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This policy explains how La Boutique Padel uses cookies and other trackers, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi « Informatique et Libertés ») and the recommendations of the CNIL.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored and read when visiting a website, using an application or viewing an advertisement. During its period of validity, it makes it possible to recognise the device used and to collect certain information about browsing.
2. Categories of trackers used
- Strictly necessary cookies: essential for the website to function (security, recording your consent choices). They do not require your consent.
- Audience measurement cookies: used to compile traffic statistics and improve the website. Subject to consent, unless configured in an exempt manner that meets the CNIL criteria.
- Functional cookies: enhance browsing comfort (display preferences). Subject to consent.
- Marketing cookies: related to personalised advertising and social networks. Only placed after your explicit consent.
In practice on this website: audience measurement is carried out with Rybbit, a self-hosted tool that places no cookies and collects no personally identifying data: no persistent identifier (anonymous fingerprint renewed every day), no cross-site tracking, no session recording, URL parameters not collected, data kept for no more than 25 months. Configured in line with the CNIL exemption criteria, this tool does not require a consent banner. You may nevertheless object to this measurement (see the privacy policy). No marketing or functional cookies are currently placed.
3. Obtaining consent
For trackers that are not strictly necessary, your consent is obtained before any tracker is placed, via a dedicated banner. You can accept or refuse just as easily, and change your choice at any time. Failing to make a choice or continuing to browse does not constitute consent.
4. Retention period
Trackers subject to consent are kept for a maximum of 13 months; the information collected via these trackers is not kept beyond 25 months. When these periods expire, your consent is requested again.
5. Setting and withdrawing your consent
The website currently places no cookies subject to consent: no banner or management module is therefore displayed. Should this change, a cookie management module will be put in place before any cookie is placed. In any case, you can configure your browser to accept or refuse cookies:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security
- Safari: Settings > Privacy
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
Refusing certain cookies may restrict access to some features of the website.
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be placed by third-party services (audience measurement, embedded content). These third parties are responsible for the trackers they place and for the use of the data collected, under their own policies.
7. Changes
This policy may change to take account of regulatory or technical developments. We invite you to consult it regularly.
